Jim Kelly, the former European chair of global marketing services giant Dentsu, has joined Brilliant Noise as a board director. Kelly rose to prominence in the ad industry as a partner in Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe, which Campaign recently declared as one of the best 20 ad agencies of the last 50 years.As a board director, Kelly will help steer Brilliant Noise’s hybrid agency services and in-housing consultancy for major brands including Universal Pictures, Jaguar Land Rover, L’Oreal, Nestlé, Visa, Barilla, EDF Energy, Heathrow and Tata Communications.Since stepping down as chairman at Dentsu Kelly has been working as an independent consultant to digital, advertising and marketing services agencies, including board roles at Karmarama and Zone. Jim Kelly joins a board already comprising three founders of Brilliant Noise, Maddy Cooper, Jason Ryan, Antony Mayfield, the company’s Chair, Arjo Ghosh and strategic financial advisor Will Taylor.
