Brilliant Noise has welcomed two new people to the team in the last few days: Lauren Pope and Richard Ablett.
While this may not be news if you follow them on Twitter, it feels more official when it’s on the blog. Time was when such news would warrant a press release, but sources tell us those days are passed.
So here’s a brief introduction to the new Noisers (Brilliantists? Noisettes? We’re don’t really have a nickname for team members yet – doubtless one will emerge soon…)
Lauren Pope joins as a digital consultant, specialising in content and social media. Her last role was with uSwitch, an online comparison site for utilities, where she has been B2B content, social media, SEO and PR manager and was previously editor of its consumer website.
We’ve been admirers of Lauren’s work for years, and have loved her talks like the Agile Content Marketing one she gave at last year’s Content Marketing Show.
Lauren’s Twitter followers have been loudly mourning the end of her working in London, as her dry commentary on life as a commuter won a lot of fans.
Richard Ablett joins Brilliant Noise as a client partner, the first of three appointments in this key, senior team (more news soon).
He’s worked with many of the Brilliant Noise team before on digital programmes for the likes of Coca-Cola and Sainsbury’s Bank. He’s been in marketing for 12 years now, and was previously Client Services Director for iCrossing UK.
Richard’s a marathon runner and will be beating my time in the Brighton marathon in a couple of month’s by anything up to about an hour.
